RN Lead, Clinical Nurse Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in clinical nursing. The RN Lead, Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and that the nursing unit operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring that they are evidence-based and aligned with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Conduct regular audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure that nursing practices are safe and effective.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on clinical topics and organizational policies.
- Participate in the development and implementation of nursing research projects, ensuring that they are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
Experience:
2 years of combined experience required in MedSurg and either Critical Care or Emergency Department required.
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:
RN License in state of employment or compact
BLS required
Work Schedule:
PRN
Work Type:
Per Diem As Needed
