Job Title: Blade Repair Services Technician Associate

RWE Clean Energy, LLC is seeking a skilled Blade Repair Services Technician Associate to join our team. As a key member of our internal blade repairs service team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our wind turbines.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform composite repair and maintenance tasks on wind turbine blades
  • Assure that all operation and maintenance activities are performed safely and consistently with policies and procedures
  • Climb wind towers and access wind turbines to perform repairs and maintenance
  • Lift, carry, and transport essential equipment, tools, and materials to the job site
  • Assist in transportation, setup, and operation of the up-tower blade access mechanism
  • Support a team performing platform and ground access composite repairs on multiple turbine manufacturers
  • Assist in major component replacement, focusing on blades
  • Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and handling of all Blade Repair Service equipment
  • Perform safety and other wind farm-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in science or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in operations and maintenance of power generation, blade repair, transmission, and distribution
  • Preference given to candidates with renewable energy experience, preferably in wind
  • Structured and organized, able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
Work Environment:

This position involves occasional travel and requires the ability to climb wind towers regularly. You should be able to crouch, kneel, or half-kneel for intervals of up to five minutes to execute maintenance duties in low areas.

Travel up to 75%, multiple worksites, hot/cold weather conditions, irregular hours on short notice.
