Job Title: Travel and Expense Administrator

Atkore International is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to maintain and improve our Travel and Expense (T&E) program. The successful candidate will provide critical reporting, data analytics, and T&E platform maintenance, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the T&E program, including expense reporting and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather feedback, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with Treasury to administer expense reporting through Concur and develop reports for management.
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with travel partners and vendors, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Investigate credit card declines and assist associates with credit limit increases and/or merchant code issues.
  • Process new applications and set-ups for Concur and cards.
  • Complete annual review and update of T&E and P-Card policies.
  • Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree (required) or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • At least 1-3 years' experience in T&E, treasury, bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or administrative support.
  • Working-level knowledge of Excel.
  • Customer-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated interest or related experience in corporate travel, expense management, or financial services.
  • Well-organized and reliable.
  • An analytical mind with strong business acumen.
What You'll Achieve:
  • Complete new hire Immersion and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Be designated administrator for Concur (T&E) and Chase (credit card) programs.
  • Have access to Atkore's purchase order processing system.
What You'll Do in the First 6 Months:
  • Provide regular monthly and quarterly reviews to senior management on all T&E activities.
  • Serve as the primary customer service contact to identify gaps in service with Concur, Adelman, JP Morgan, and BCD.
What You'll Do in the First 12 Months:
  • Develop training documents and materials for end users.
  • Participate in annual business review with card provider, identifying opportunities to increase rebate percentage.
  • Participate in annual business review with Concur, identifying potential program enhancement opportunities and negotiating annual contract costs.
  • Analyze and develop KPIs for user experience and/or issue resolution.
