Network Architect

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Position Type: Full-Time

Travel Requirements: Less than 10% of the time

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at CinTel Corp. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

• Perform maintenance and upgrade of networks, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and network management systems.
• Design, support, and manage a multi-zone network architecture.
• Monitor network connectivity and ensure high-quality data transmission.
• Create network diagrams with approved tools.
• Analyze local and wide area network systems, including testing.
• Resolve complex interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms.
• Configure communication media with routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices.
• Configure routine systems to user environments.
• Participate in planning, researching, evaluating, designing, and developing plans for network systems.
• Conduct internal studies and research.
• Support the acquisition of hardware and software, as well as subcontractor services as needed.
• Provide technical support to various departments and users.
• Serve as liaison with vendors and other third-party providers.
• May assist in proposal prep for new solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Active CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Current or previous Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) or Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP).
• Knowledge of Cisco Identity Services Engine and CyberVision.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products to include Visio.
• Knowledge of layer 2 switching.
• Experience with OSI 7 layer model.
• Experience with Static, Dynamic, and Layer 3 routing.
• ITIL knowledge.
