Position Overview:
The Route Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in the Service Department, striving to deliver outstanding customer service consistently while assisting in the management of route districts. This position reports directly to the District Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the development of a highly efficient district team through ongoing training, regular meetings, daily check-ins, and fostering a positive workplace culture, including route rides and building strong relationships with Route Service Representatives (RSRs).
- Assist the District Manager as needed to ensure customer loyalty and exceptional service through customer visits, audits, new installations, problem-solving, and effective communication with clients.
- Lead the district towards success by communicating changes and policies, evaluating route organization, projecting a professional image, and collaborating with other departments within the branch.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, including safety and service standards. Assess service procedures and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Perform general route responsibilities as necessary, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Support retention and growth initiatives, including sales, promotions, contests, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Execute all responsibilities of a Route Service Representative at an elevated level, evaluating route performance and RSR effectiveness.
- Fulfill the duties of a Route Relief/Utility RSR as required.
- When managing a route, promote and sample all lines of service or products, ensuring a profitable product mix while monitoring competitive activities and keeping service agreements current.
- Follow both written and verbal instructions and undertake additional tasks as directed by management.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with and support other service personnel as directed by management.

Qualifications:
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and be at least 21 years old.
- Maintain a clean driving record, free from chargeable accidents, speeding violations, or safety infractions.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and route sales skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to comprehend and follow directions, along with effective time management skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to recognize colors, sizes, and types of products, as well as accurately perform basic arithmetic operations.

Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.

Travel Requirements:
- Frequent travel within the branch area.

Work Environment:
- Operating vehicles on public roads, working in and out of customer locations, and loading areas typical of an industrial laundry facility, service center, or depot.
- Exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments of a standard industrial facility.

Physical Demands:
- Activities may include sitting, grasping, driving, stooping, moving equipment, kneeling, reaching overhead, lifting up to 75 lbs, standing, walking, writing, speaking, and hearing.
