Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at K2 Staffing, LLC in Los Angeles, CA.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work on both current and future projects, contributing to the continued success and expansion of our organization.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and technical aspects of projects, ensuring they are delivered with precision and quality from start to finish.
  • Your role will involve scheduling, planning, forecasting, resource management, and maintaining a high level of accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, best practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Maintain daily communication with clients to understand their needs, interpret their requirements, and represent them on-site.
  • Perform quality control across all aspects of the project (budget, schedule, plans, team performance), providing regular status updates.
  • Assign tasks and mentor the project team to ensure effective collaboration and project success.
  • Work closely with the project manager and other key stakeholders to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Review engineering deliverables and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer, with 3-4 years of relevant experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Project) and strong computer skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
  • Ability to manage projects across multiple disciplines and work in a fast-paced environment while fostering teamwork and positivity.
  • Strong project management, decision-making, leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with BIM, Revit, or LEED Accreditation is a plus.
  • Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
