The anticipated salary range for this position is between $123,300 and $137,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role is responsible for overseeing Technicians and Lab Assistants in the implementation of surveying instruments, planning and scheduling, procedural training, radiation exposure management, and radioactive waste programs in support of Operations and Maintenance activities at PowerLabs.

Compliance with relevant regulatory and state requirements is essential.


Collaboration with Radiation Protection colleagues across the Constellation fleet and regulatory bodies is crucial for the effective execution of the Radiation Protection program.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Supervise the Radiation Protection program at PowerLabs.
- Ensure timely and thorough reporting of all program-related documentation.
- Oversee daily supervision, monitoring, and coaching of direct reports to maintain a productive workforce in alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Manage the daily operations of the functional Radiation rotation program at PowerLabs to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining nuclear worker exposure at ALARA levels.
- Facilitate effective communication of company programs, announcements, and policies to assigned employees, and gather feedback from them.

Accountability for managing PowerLabs' performance regarding contaminated areas and personnel contamination incidents is essential.
Additional supervisory responsibilities may be assigned by management as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in radiation protection within a nuclear reactor facility.
- Successful completion of core supervisory and management training programs.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful completion of the NRRPT certification.
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in health physics or a related field is preferred.
