Starting Salary: $33.53 / hr
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes within the defined scope of practice.
- Provide tailored education to patients based on their individual needs.
- Accurately transcribe and implement physician orders and protocols.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate.
- Manage critical care medications effectively.
- Observe and implement timely medical treatments and medication protocols.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of significant changes in patient conditions and respond with appropriate interventions.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting is required.
- Current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming in good standing with the Board of Nursing is mandatory.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 60 days of hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within six months of hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Completion of a telemetry course or demonstration of competency within one year of hire is necessary, with annual competency assessments.
- Completion of annual continuing education units (CEUs) is required.
- Strong customer service skills, including a friendly demeanor, patience, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with staff, management, and the public.
- Demonstrated active listening abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Proficiency in learning new software applications.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating ethical accountability in all responsibilities.
