About the Role

Corteva Agriscience is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Constantine, Michigan production facility. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following established guidelines and procedures.
  • Review and assist program leaders and teams with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and compliance.
  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair any problem of any electrical/mechanical nature.
  • Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures, including environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures, in everyday work routine.
  • Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes, including the addition of new devices and hardware.
  • Serve as the Safety Program Leader.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • You have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • You possess a Journeyman electrical license.
  • You have a valid driver's license and are willing and able to drive a company vehicle as needed.
  • You possess working knowledge and are willing and able to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • You are comfortable with technology and possess good computer aptitude, including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • You are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Climb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand, and sit for extended periods, Work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. and perform work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting.
  • You can work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • You have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • You have high attention to detail, can multitask, maintain an organized workplace, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • You value health and safety and will always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day.
  • You value serving your customers and know operations must be supported for optimal uptime, so you are willing and able to work hours required of this role to achieve that mission.
  • You are willing and able to work rotating shifts and overtime hours, including weekend work as needed during seasonal peaks to support production demand.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master Licensed Electrician.
  • Experience with a work order and part inventory system.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).
  • Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, instrumentation, and controls, HVAC, and general maintenance experience.
  • Experience with an E-Maintenance (or similar system) for work orders and parts inventory.
