About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at our Constantine, Michigan production facility. As an Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the operation of company equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following prescribed guidelines and procedures.
  • Review and assist program leaders and teams with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and compliance.
  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair any problem of any electrical/mechanical nature.
  • Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures, including environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures.
  • Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes.
  • Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following prescribed guidelines and procedures.
  • Serve as the Safety Program Leader.
  • Various other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Journeyman electrical license.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to drive a company vehicle as needed.
  • Working knowledge and ability to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Comfortable with technology and good computer aptitude, including Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, ability to multitask, maintain an organized workplace, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Value health and safety and will always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Value serving customers and know operations must be supported for optimal uptime.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime hours, including weekend work as needed during seasonal peaks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master Licensed Electrician.
  • Experience with a work order and part inventory system.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).
  • Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, instrumentation and controls, HVAC, and general maintenance experience.
  • Experience with an E-Maintenance (or similar system) for work orders and parts inventory.
