Electrical Maintenance Specialist Opportunity at Corteva Agriscience

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Corteva Agriscience in Constantine, Michigan. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation of company equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following prescribed guidelines and procedures.
  • Review and assist program leaders and teams with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and compliance.
  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair any problem of any electrical/mechanical nature.
  • Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures, including environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures.
  • Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Journeyman electrical license.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to drive a company vehicle as needed.
  • Working knowledge and ability to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Comfortable with technology and good computer aptitude, including Microsoft Applications.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master Licensed Electrician.
  • Experience with a work order and part inventory system.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).
  • Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment experience.
