Job Overview

Total Fire Protection is seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Journeyman/Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems on commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install fire sprinkler systems according to NFPA codes and regulations
  • Manage and mentor apprentices in daily operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine piping, valve, and head placement
  • Communicate with local inspectors and coordinate scheduling of project rough-in and final inspections
  • Coordinate with other trades and general contractors to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements:

  • NICET licensing or other state fire sprinkler certifications
  • Driver's license and work authorization
  • 4+ years of experience in fire sprinkler fitting (preferred)
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work on ladders
  • Good numerical and problem-solving skills
