Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to join our Silicon Technologies group at Apple. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless and efficient handling of tasks that make Apple products and services beloved by millions.

About the Role

In this hands-on position, you will utilize your experience in CAD to support Post-Silicon teams, including Product and Test Engineering (PTE), Digital Custom Group (DCG), and DFT teams. You will write software to build and support automated infrastructure that these teams use for management of eFuse, EMAs, and Test Pattern Management. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop and support software used for memory failure analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and support multiple post-silicon infrastructure systems used to manage eFuses, EMA, and Test Patterns.
- Evangelize and promote these systems across all Apple Silicon design teams.
- Create documentation and provide training to our internal customers.
- Continuously engage with our internal customers to improve workflows and systems that meet their needs.

Requirements

- Experience in Perl, Python, or C++ programming languages.
- Experience driving large-scale infrastructure from specification, software development to deployment.
- Minimum requirements of BS degree + 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Post-Silicon infrastructure such as management of Test Programs, eFuses, EMAs, and Memory Failure Analysis.
- Evangelist of software engineering practices (agile, code review, automated builds, regression testing, revision control systems).
- Experience with customer support.
