Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Access Control and Surveillance Systems Installer to join our team at Softrim LLC. As a key member of our Low-Voltage Construction and Services department, you will be responsible for interacting with customers, technical staff, and other stakeholders to design, install, and maintain access control and digital security surveillance systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and install access control and digital security surveillance systems from start to finish, ensuring compliance with original specifications and customer requirements.
  • Manage and support a team of Access Control and Surveillance professionals, providing technical guidance and leadership.
  • Triage and assess incoming service calls, working closely with the Scheduler to determine the best course of action.
  • Provide technical support on access control hardware/software and digital security surveillance hardware/software, including on-call support.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, time, and notes, following company standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and products, evaluating their potential benefits to Softrim and our business strategies.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in access control and surveillance, with a proven track record of designing and installing systems from start to finish.
  • Substantial experience interpreting plan drawings and details, with a strong understanding of access control and digital security surveillance systems.
  • Graduation from High School or equivalent, with a valid FL driver's license and a clean driving record.

Work Environment

This role requires local travel, travel to construction sites, and service areas, both local and remote. The typical business hours are from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some weekend and after-hours work required.

This position is eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability, and 401(k), after the introductory period.
