Job Overview

Jewish Family and Children's Service (JFCS) is seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead our Children's behavioral health program. This role involves providing clinical oversight and supervision for direct services and case-management services to youth clients and their families.

About the Job

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assist clinicians in the use of formal and informal resources for clients, including transition, discharge, and aftercare plans of behavioral health services.
  • Aid clinicians in developing programs directed at expanding the continuum of services in collaboration with the clinical team members.
  • Engage in clinical collaboration in the coordination of services with other third-party agencies, such as Child Protective Services (CPS), Probation/Parole Department, Division of Developmental Disabilities, Arizona Long Term Care, schools, and other providers.
  • Participate in job-related committees, such as Substance Abuse, Utilization Management, Safety, and Risk Management.
  • Prepare reports, such as Incident Reports, CPR referrals, QI/QM activities, performance audits, a compilation of meeting minutes, and other reports as needed.
  • Work with treatment and management teams to implement agency policies & procedures, acquaint the agency with community trends, identify gaps in services, and work on special projects with committees to better meet client needs.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a human services field.
  • Independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) conferred by the AZBBHE.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the behavioral health field, post-Masters.
  • 2 years of management experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Ability to maintain licensing and DPS fingerprint clearance.
  • Management experience is highly preferred.
