Job Overview

Position: Plumbing Service Technician

Compensation: $20 to $35 per hour

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Core Responsibilities: This role encompasses a blend of light maintenance and repair duties along with the opportunity to present upgrades to clients. Responsibilities include executing skilled plumbing tasks to maintain, repair, and service various fixtures and equipment. Routine maintenance and repair tasks are carried out independently.

Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Plumbing Technical Supervisor.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in residential service and installation.
  • Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program within the last 4-5 years.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Strong manual dexterity for handling plumbing fixtures and pipes.
  • Detail-oriented and proficient in interpreting blueprints.
  • In-depth knowledge of local plumbing regulations.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Considerable understanding of standard plumbing tools, methods, and materials.
  • Awareness of safety hazards and precautions associated with plumbing work.
