Certified Nursing Assistant

As a Certified Nursing Assistant - Clerical Support at St. Elizabeth HealthCare, you will play a vital role in coordinating and maintaining the clerical functions and duties of a designated unit/program. Your excellent customer service skills will shine when greeting patients and visitors, and answering telephone calls. You will demonstrate the ability to complete worklist tasks triggered by physician orders or nurse-generated tasks under the direct supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Additionally, you will provide direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a RN or LPN, assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing personal care, comfort, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and maintain clerical functions and duties of a designated unit/program
Utilize customer service skills when greeting patients and visitors, and answering telephone calls
Complete worklist tasks triggered by physician orders or nurse-generated tasks under the direct supervision of licensed nursing personnel
Provide direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a RN or LPN
Assist patients with activities of daily living, provide personal care, comfort, and maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients
Requirements:
High school or GED graduate
Certified in the state where work is being performed
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Completion of applicable state courses
Successful completion of applicable state exam required for certification
Not listed on applicable State Abuse Registry
Must have CPR for the professional rescuer

Basic math skills
