Position Overview
The City of New York is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Logistics Coordinator/Receptionist within the Asset & Capital Management (A&CM) Division. This division is responsible for managing a substantial capital program and ensuring the effective operation of public housing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting logistical operations and administrative functions, including but not limited to:

  • Acting as the primary customer service representative for A&CM, efficiently directing service requests to the appropriate personnel.
  • Serving as the front desk receptionist, providing a welcoming environment for visitors.
  • Generating analytical reports related to customer service and logistics databases.
  • Facilitating logistical support across various departments, including processing requests and managing supplies.
  • Acting as the liaison for the A&CM vehicle fleet.
  • Creating requisitions within the division's procurement system.
  • Assisting in the procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Supporting the onboarding and offboarding processes for staff.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with the distribution of supplies and equipment.
  • Maintaining records related to the division's commercial credit card usage.
  • Assisting stakeholders in responding to information requests.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three years of relevant administrative experience, including one year in a supervisory role.
  • An associate degree or 60 semester credits with four years of relevant experience, including one year in a supervisory capacity.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent with five years of relevant experience, including one year in a supervisory role.

Education beyond high school may substitute for experience at a rate of 30 semester credits for six months of experience, up to a maximum of 3.5 years.
