Job Title: Manufacturing Technology Operations Engineer

Join our team as a Manufacturing Technology Operations Engineer and take on a challenging role that combines technical expertise with business acumen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities, leveraging your knowledge of industrial automation and control systems to drive efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain industrial automation networks and systems to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and standards to protect our industrial control systems from threats.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to plant control systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Manage automation improvement projects, collaborating with operations and project teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Participate in cybersecurity audits and maintain audit reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain industrial automation architecture drawings, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Organize and implement windows patch installs in industrial automation servers and workstations, working closely with the server infrastructure team.
  • Develop and maintain master plans for industrial networking and industrial applications roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing-related automation and operations technologies or 10+ years in information systems and automation technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control systems, including PLC programming, industrial networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC programming, industrial networking protocols, and SCADA/HMI systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage concurrent projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ISA/IES 62443 Cybersecurity Certification.
  • Experience with IT and OT network segregation using the Purdue model.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and SQL programming.
