Automation and Operations Technology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automation and Operations Technology Engineer to join our team at Danone North America. As a key member of our plant operations team, you will be responsible for deploying and managing industrial automation systems, ensuring the availability and reliability of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Enforce Danone OT cybersecurity policies and standards to protect our industrial control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex plant control system issues, escalating when necessary.
- Manage automation improvement projects and participate in recovery efforts during equipment and plant outages or planned shutdowns.
- Develop and maintain industrial automation architecture drawings and manage hardware and software life cycles.
- Organize windows patch installs in industrial automation servers and workstations.
- Support plant operations and project teams on corporate and plant initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing related to automation and operations technologies.
- Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC programming, industrial networking and communication protocols, and basic electrical knowledge.
- Familiarity with SCADA or HMI systems, programming languages, and SQL programming.
- Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- ISA/IES 62443 Cybersecurity Certification is a plus.
