High Bandwidth Memory Firmware Developer

Broadcom Corporation is a leading provider of semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions.

\

The High Bandwidth Memory Firmware Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing firmware for Broadcom's proprietary HBM PHY IP and die-to-die interconnect PHY IP used in custom silicon ASIC products.

\

This role requires expertise in firmware development, embedded systems, and high-bandwidth memory architectures. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in C/C++ programming, experience with scripting languages, and knowledge of real-time operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Design, develop, and test firmware for HBM PHY IP and die-to-die interconnect PHY IP.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.\
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code standards.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.\

    • Requirements:\
    • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent and 8+ years related experience.\
    • Strong programming skills in C/C++.\
    • Experience with scripting languages.\
    • Knowledge of real-time operating systems and hardware/software interactions.\
    • Experience with hardware/software debugging.\
    • Experience with GIT, Gerrit, and Jenkins.\

Compensation and Benefits:

\

We offer an annual base salary range of $107,000 - $190,000, a discretionary annual bonus, equity in accordance with relevant plan documents, and a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision plans, 401(K) participation, Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
