Role Overview

This experienced role in our Servo firmware development team involves developing real-time firmware supporting Enterprise hard disk drive products. You'll work primarily on C/C++ firmware for an embedded processor and may also contribute to assembly language code for our custom DSP assist processor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and test firmware components using structured code development and debug practices
  • Participate in agile development processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Owning significant code development efforts, you'll ensure high-quality deliverables and documentation
Requirements

We're seeking candidates with:

  • A strong background in software development, preferably with experience in real-time embedded systems
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages, with demonstrable knowledge of structured code development and debug practices
  • Knowledge of and experience with typical lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes and firmware development/debug tools
  • A proven track record of working effectively in multi-site agile development teams
