Join TEKsystems as a Data Center Operations Specialist and be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of our enterprise-wide data center infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years' experience operating Data Center facilities, including maintenance activities, and relevant IT infrastructure experience. They will participate in implementing large infrastructure projects and possess expertise in IT operations, wide and local area networking, fiber and copper cabling, cable management, servers, blade chassis, storage, and backups.

This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address production issues, ensure quality and consistency of deploying new equipment, decommission obsolete gear, and move existing compute components as needed. The ideal candidate will also participate in critical incident resolution, on-call rotation, and carry a cell phone for availability during specified hours of coverage.

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong analytical skills to provide hardware verification, reporting, and audits through DCIM tools. Additionally, they will be responsible for capacity management, tracking, and planning to support current and forecasted enterprise deployments. This role will also support the continuous improvement cycle using approved Site Ops & Eng principles and communicate customer requests through established ticketing and workflow systems.
