Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Shiloh Industries. As a Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products by performing a variety of tasks related to welding and assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visual Inspection: Examine welding lines and evaluate assembly according to defined criteria to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Welding and Repair: Reweld defective parts using specialized equipment and follow established procedures to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
  • Machining and Cleaning: Conduct basic machining on parts according to defined criteria and requirements, and clean equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Quality Control: Separate and document non-conforming parts according to established procedures, and conduct examinations of accessories, welding, and painted surfaces to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide support to maintenance activities as needed, and change and clean basic consumables to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Continuous standing and walking for 10-12 hours a day, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and use of hands to position or move objects.
  • Visual Abilities: Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Ability to work and communicate effectively with others, and willingness to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalency required. Relevant experience in welding and manufacturing preferred.
