Rewelds provided defective parts with an easily to handle device according to personal instruction (e.g. filling end crater, length of weld). Conducts basic machining on parts according to defined criteria and requirements (e.g. rewelding, cleaning, burring, grinding). Reworks and repairs painted and unpainted parts. Might weld prototypes or aluminum parts. Reports malfunctions to the setter and corrects simple restraints (e.g. pushing reset button). Separates and documents NOK (not ok) parts according to personal instruction. Conducts examination of accessories, welding, painted surfaces, size check and other examinations according defined criteria. Supports maintenance according to instruction. Changes and cleans basic consumables (e.g. tube batches, coils) according to personal instruction Cleans equipment and the work areas on a daily basis. Conducts reporting (BDE) and provides other daily reports. Conducts basic assembly line specific shift changes (e.g. indicates defect characteristics, defect frequency, malfunctions). Provides support to all activities assigned by the direct supervisor. Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
