Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced VP of Manufacturing - Technical Operations to lead several technical staff organizations in the manufacturing function, including quality assurance, compliance, manufacturing engineering, and maintenance.

The successful candidate will lead the technical continuous improvement program for Cirkul Inc and develop strategies to allow the company to scale its manufacturing operations to meet increasing consumer demand.

The VP of Manufacturing - Technical Operations will have several senior-level direct reports and will sit on the manufacturing leadership team.

The role requires strong leadership and technical skills, as well as the ability to partner with all manufacturing teams, finance, human resources, automation engineering, external suppliers, supply chain, and OEMs to develop and execute Cirkul Inc's business plans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead multiple technical manufacturing organizations, including quality assurance, compliance, manufacturing engineering, and maintenance.
  2. Lead Cirkul Inc's QA execution and QA continuous improvement program.
  3. Develop and execute Cirkul Inc's technical continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence programs.
  4. Lead the manufacturing technical and automation masterplan, technical talent program, and technical training program.
  5. Lead Cirkul Inc's operate and maintain program and technical skill building programs.
  6. Identify and implement best practices on equipment platforms, problem-solving, technical documentation, and technical systems and processes.
  7. Develop and implement the equipment upgrades and planned obsolescence program to ensure little to no interruption on customer delivery.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience leading in a high-velocity manufacturing environment in roles of increasing responsibility.

They will also have 15+ years of experience in technical staff organizations supporting manufacturing and delivering world-class results.

Additionally, the candidate will have 15+ years of experience leading equipment platforms, quality assurance, and/or asset management/life cycle programs.

They will also have 10+ years of leading senior managers and experience leading multi-site and/or multi-geography organizations or programs.

The successful candidate will have a high level of technical understanding, including relevant manufacturing excellence, engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance systems, processes, and nomenclature.

They will also have a high level of business acumen to make decisions that create multi-benefit results.

The ideal candidate will be able to turn general high-level direction into actionable plans and create a vision of the future, articulate that vision, and create actionable and measurable plans to achieve that vision.

They will also have demonstrated ability to concisely brief executive leadership on business situations to drive to decisions and resolution.

The successful candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills and be willing to work hard, stay until the job is complete, and demonstrate resilience.

They will also have a positive attitude, willing to work with multiple levels of employees, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires up to 25% travel.
