Collaborating closely with our corporate team, you'll have the authority to delegate responsibilities within the laboratory management team when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Laboratory Operations: Uphold quality standards, efficiency, and timely completion of tasks.
- Customer Service: Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries, maintaining our commitment to exceptional service.
- Team Leadership: Lead the recruitment process for laboratory personnel, facilitating performance reviews, and fostering professional development.
- Financial Management: Manage laboratory finances to ensure profitability.
- Compliance and Quality: Collaborate with the laboratory team to achieve ISO 17025 compliance and implement the Corporate Quality Management System effectively.
- Facilities Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laboratory environment, overseeing maintenance operations.
- Safety and Security: Ensure adherence to the Laboratory Safety Program at all times.
- Project Management: Oversee non-routine projects as requested by clients or assigned by management.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on scientific advancements and industry trends through continuous learning.
- Audit and Compliance: Conduct periodic audits of laboratory staff to ensure compliance with protocols.
- Client Relations: Directly engage with clients regarding laboratory capabilities, results, pricing, and related matters.
- Travel: Travel as required for business purposes.
- Additional Duties: Perform any additional duties as assigned, including method verification.
- Supervise and manage a team of 5 to 30 individuals, depending on laboratory workload.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years of laboratory experience in a food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or related industry.
- Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
