Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Campus Store Operations Manager to join our team at Follett. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service in our campus store.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Growth
- Execute store plans and daily operations to meet sales targets and company objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and customer engagement.
- Partner with store leadership to review financials and adjust strategies to drive sales growth.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Maintain accurate inventory control and manage stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Operate cash registers and store systems to process transactions and manage cash handling procedures.
- Talent Management
- Supervise and train team members to ensure they meet company standards and expectations.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team member skills and knowledge.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and implement customer service strategies to improve customer engagement and retention.
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Campus Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with campus stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and students.
- Communicate store operational activities and updates to campus stakeholders.
- Collaborate with campus partners to develop and implement joint initiatives and promotions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a campus store or similar environment.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer service.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and training team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with campus stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
