Position Overview & Requirements
  • Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours
  • Shift Length: 10 hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Active California RN license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.
  • Experience in Level 1 Trauma preferred.
  • Essential skills include circulating in the OR.
  • Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC preferred.

Additional Information:

  • No first-time travelers accepted.
  • Unit systems utilized include Omnicell and Epic.
  • Scrubs will be provided.

Unit Details:

  • Average Daily Census: 30 patients.
  • Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics.
  • Call Required: Yes, with scheduled shifts.
  • Weekend Work: Yes, as per schedule.
