**Job Summary**
The Center for Specialized Surgery - Gold Coast is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver patient care through the framework of the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, and patient outcome, in the preoperative, interoperative, and postoperative phases of surgical patients.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and surgical needs.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient vital signs, medication administration, and surgical procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
**Requirements:**
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum one year of experience in the Operating Room, with the ability to scrub and circulate.
- Orthopedic and ENT experience required.
