Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Production Associate - Level I to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Oshkosh, WI. This role involves ensuring safety, promoting a health and safety culture, maintaining quality standards, and achieving production goals.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure a safe work environment by promptly reporting hazards and incidents, and using personal protective equipment.
- Promote a health and safety culture by encouraging colleagues to look out for one another and engaging in HSE training.
- Maintain quality standards by following standard work procedures and performing quality inspections.
- Identify and control non-conforming materials to minimize quality issues and reduce costs.
- Achieve production goals by operating equipment efficiently and meeting production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
- Collaborate with team members and support staff to identify and address equipment issues promptly.
- Participate in training and development, and suggest improvements in processes and safety to drive continuous improvement in the workplace.
- Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with colleagues and work collaboratively to achieve shared goals.
- Effective Communication: Develop and deliver clear and concise communications tailored to the needs of different audiences.
- Customer Focus: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met with customer-centric solutions.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Minimal or no work experience required.
Line 5 axle assembly. Second shift 3:30PM to 12:00AM.
