Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembler I to join our team at Generac Power Systems. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing assembly work to manufacture products in a cost-effective and timely manner while meeting quality standards.
Your primary responsibilities will include validating material prior to beginning assembly, reviewing work instructions, building products per specifications and within tolerances, completing all clean-up and housekeeping procedures, and complying with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
Key Qualifications:- Ability to perform highly repetitive assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing experience, including knowledge of manufacturing processes or related experience.
Use work instructions, drawings, schematics, and electronic assembly equipment to perform assembly while complying with safe and effective operation standards of all equipment and tools.
Follow established procedures, processes, or policies, and demonstrate good attendance, quality, attention to detail, and all safety policies.
Participate in team meetings to exchange job-related information and resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors depending on the level and complexity.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to effectively communicate in a team environment
- Accepts responsibility for own actions, follows through on commitments
- Ability to understand and execute basic standard assembly procedures, interpret basic visual diagrams, and use basic hand tools
- Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions
