Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to the public, answering questions and resolving issues related to parking policies and regulations.
  • Parking Enforcement: Monitor designated areas to ensure compliance with parking policies, issuing citations and warnings as necessary.
  • Vehicle Impoundment: Impound, boot, or relocate vehicles as directed, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist maintenance staff with duties related to parking equipment and facility upkeep, including inspecting and assessing lots for maintenance issues.
  • Revenue Collection: Assist in the collection and security of all monies received through parking meters, multi-space machines, and other means of collecting parking revenues and fees.
  • Event Support: Assist event staff with activities related to parking for events, including setting up for events, traffic control, and lot usage control.
  • Permit Sales: Assist office staff with activities related to permit sales during peak seasons, including data entry and providing frontline customer service.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of geography, hazards, and safety precautions, as well as the ability to use a handheld computer and operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate the ability to interact with others in a courteous and tactful manner, with a high level of customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to walk for extended periods of time and work in all weather conditions.
  • Availability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekends, as needed.
  • License Requirement: Possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
