Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Surveyor I to join our team at IMEG Corp. As a Field Surveyor I, you will play a critical role in assisting our experienced surveyors in acquiring survey field data through the use of principles, methods, and techniques for assigned land surveying field projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect Field Data: Perform day-to-day operations to collect field data for all land surveys, including boundaries, topographic surveys, and construction stakeouts.
  • Operate Survey Equipment: Operate, maintain, and handle survey equipment, data collection, and other geodetic and reality capture equipment.
  • Set Points: Set points on construction stakeout projects.
  • Quality Control: Fundamental ability to perform quality checks using the survey equipment assigned.
  • Data Download: Download project data.
  • Client and Coworker Relationships: Maintain professional and productive working relationships with all clients and coworkers.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate a company vehicle.
  • Safety and Security: Observe safety and security procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates degree, or certificate, in Land Surveying or Engineering preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in the land surveying or consulting or construction industry preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret operating procedures, safety documents, and maintenance instructions. Ability to read surveys and engineering drawings. Knowledge of modern survey equipment, devices, and methods. Problem-solving techniques. Ability to work independently as well as proactively collaborate as part of a team. Possesses basic oral and written communication skills. Ability to professionally represent IMEG Corp. Valid driver's license with ability to be insured by IMEG carrier; must consent to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check. Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
