About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Planate Management Group. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in conducting facility assessments and recommending design and construction improvements to our government clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of facilities to identify areas for improvement and recommend design and construction modifications.
  • Project Coordination: Schedule, organize, and conduct meetings with government clients, construction contractors, and other stakeholders to track project progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise to government clients on architecture and engineering matters, including creating agendas, delivering technical presentations, and making recommendations for technical issues.
  • Meeting Support: Support the PMO at conferences and meetings, including setup, coordination, facilitation, and deliverables.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records and other information on the SharePoint site, Strategic Calendar, and Conference Room Calendars for the PMO.
Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or any engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Five years of experience in construction management, including inspection and contractor oversight activities associated with facilities.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret construction documents, proficient in Primavera scheduling software, and proficient in using Microsoft Office suites.
  • Clearance: Having a security clearance is highly desirable.
