Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Case Manager to join our team at The GEO Group, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing case management services to Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP) participants, ensuring their successful integration into the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individual service plans for ISAP participants, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and program requirements.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with participants, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and complete case records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection policies.
  • Install and monitor electronic monitoring equipment, ensuring participants' compliance with program requirements.
  • Assist participants with acquiring travel documents, maintaining a log of travel document information.
  • Evaluate English proficiency and provide resources to promote clear communication between staff and participants.
  • Coordinate and facilitate translation services, connecting participants with community resources.
  • Supervise participants in Company offices, establishing schedules for counseling sessions, immigration Court appearances, and access to legal services.
  • Review individual service plans, conduct risk/needs assessments, and write progress reports in compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Report on program violations in a timely manner, using established reporting parameters.
  • Conduct home visits to verify participants' places of residence, performing emergency counseling as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with translation resources in the community, identifying and coordinating services as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field.
  • At least two years of customer service or case management experience, with experience in fields related to law, social work, detention, corrections, or working with multi-cultural clients preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required, with the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for home visits.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination.
  • United States citizenship and ability to live in the U.S. for at least three of the last five years.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret and articulate rules, orders, instructions, and materials.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and even temperament, with the ability to maintain self-control in stressful situations.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with the public, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures, with basic computer skills and ability to interpret electronic monitoring messages and daily summary reports.
