Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Tech Certified to join our surgical services team. In this vital role, you will contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to ensure seamless outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
  • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and transportation, communicating effectively with the surgical team.
  • Collaborate with Central Processing Department (CPD) technicians to prepare cases for the next day and ensure efficient turnover.
  • Develop strong relationships with nursing staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel to facilitate effective patient care.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, working approximately one weekend per month.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Certification as an OR Technician, with a minimum of one year experience in surgical assisting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to lift 30 pounds, stand for long periods, and move heavy equipment.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.

Salary and Benefits Package

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
