Overview:

Hackensack Meridian Health is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and service. As a Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our medical staff is qualified and competent to provide the highest level of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medical staff credentials, including licensure, education, and training.
  • Coordinate the reappointment process for medical staff, ensuring timely and efficient processing of applications.
  • Verify licensure, education, and training credentials for medical staff, and identify any discrepancies or issues that require additional investigation.
  • Support the credentialing software and ensure accurate and timely data entry.
  • Collaborate with manager and department chairs to support performance improvement and reporting.
  • Respond to requests from medical staff and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of administrative experience, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records, and to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with ability to communicate effectively with medical staff, department chairs, and other stakeholders.
