Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to nursing staff on ostomy and wound care
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients and families on ostomy and wound care
  • Assess and meet the educational needs of nursing staff
  • Participate in research programs related to ostomy and wound care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures related to ostomy and wound care
Qualifications
  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a B.S. in Nursing
  • Graduate of an approved enterostomal nurse program
  • Current board certification in E.T. nursing or within one (1) year of hire date
  • Five (5) years medical-surgical nursing experience
