About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Safety Specialist to join our team at Phoenix Technologies. As an IT Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety concepts and adapt existing ones to changing requirements from product and basic standards of functional safety (VDE 0832, EN 61508, EN).
  • Implement safety requirements in our components in the embedded field and in real-time operating systems (QNX).
  • Analyze safety risks based on comprehensive knowledge and application of specific methods (threat analysis, FTA, FMEA).
  • Responsible for creating safety reports, statements, and evaluations.
Requirements
  • You have completed a technical education with several years of professional experience or a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • You have experience in embedded design with CAN bus and safety-oriented controller systems.
  • You have good knowledge of electrical engineering.
  • Considering the special requirements and processes for safety-relevant assemblies, components, and software is important to you.
