Electrical Supervisor Job Description

At SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, we're passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to our guests. As an Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems, ensuring the safety of our animals and guests, and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical technicians, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Maintain and manage electrical equipment, including maintenance schedules, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Develop and implement electrical safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with PE/General Services management to develop and implement training programs, schedules, and supervision strategies.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power circuits, and receptacles.
  • Work from blueprints and schematics to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Manage and maintain equipment for shops and other areas of the park.
  • Operate hand and power tools, selecting the appropriate materials and equipment for each task.
  • Ensure compliance with safety laws and regulations, identifying and reporting potential hazards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; electrical trade experience or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of electrical trade experience or equivalent required; Texas Journeymen Electrical License required; Master Electrical license preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic math skills and ability to complete tasks within time constraints.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Consistently practices safe work habits, including the use of personal protective equipment and reporting of unsafe situations.
