Electrical Supervisor Job Description

At SeaWorld, we're passionate about caring for animals and providing exceptional experiences for our guests. As an Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and attractions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and direct electrical, HVAC, and kitchen equipment repair technicians in park repairs, maintenance, and new work.
  • Assist PE/General Services management with training, schedules, and supervision.
  • Maintain material inventory and contact vendors for ongoing material needs.
  • Manage and support the company's Electrical Safety Policy and Arc Flash PPE Program.
  • Perform maintenance on general lighting, power circuits, and receptacles.
  • Operate hand and power tools and select proper materials for use.
  • Ensure safety of structures and conform to safety laws.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least five (5) years of electrical trade experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to do a material take-off and obtain quotes from vendors.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC is preferred.
  • Texas Journeymen Electrical License required minimum; Master Electrical license preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a SEA driver's license.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills in the English language.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Must be able to complete tasks assigned within time constraints implied by park guidelines.
  • Must be able to work independently and have flexibility to work successfully in a team environment when needed.
  • Provide excellent service to guests and team members.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting, and reporting of unsafe situations.
  • Must be willing to comply with and ensure team members comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
  • Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.
