As an Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the setup, installation, and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and physical plant, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of Electrician workforce in setup, installation, and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and physical plant.
  • Supervise electrical repairs to physical plant and electrically-related repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery and equipment.
  • Assist workers in diagnosis, repair, and calibration of machinery and production equipment.
  • Supervise dismantling, assembling, and installing of machinery electrical components and production equipment.
  • Interpret company policies for workers and enforce compliance with safety regulations.
  • Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies, and maintain associated time and production records.
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for workers and assign duties via CMMS software.
  • Study production schedules and estimate work hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
  • Confer with Production Supervisors to coordinate electrical department personnel access to production equipment.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Suggest changes to increase production efficiency, including education and training.
  • Supervise non-electrical workforce as needed during absence of other supervisors.
  • Comply with all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping programs.
Requirements:
  • 6 years of experience in industrial electrical work, including 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Expertise with PLCs, Networks (including fiber optic), and exemplary troubleshooting ability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including MS Office suite.
  • Able to use electrical meters and tools related to company equipment.
Post-Hire Training Requirements:
  • Environmental training applicable to the job.
  • Safety training for applicable equipment.
  • Job instructional training.
  • Quality system familiarization.
  • Plant EMS objectives and targets.
  • Actively support and participate in Plant JTE effort.
