Position Overview

The Lead Pediatric Registered Nurse at AllCare Health is a vital role within the Population Health department. This position focuses on delivering evidence-based wellness initiatives and self-care management strategies tailored for pediatric members and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate services to address the healthcare needs of members, ensuring timely access to necessary medical and behavioral health services.
  • Collaborate with the care coordination supervisor to effectively manage the maternal child health team.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote health plan partnerships and advocate for members in resolving issues.
  • Facilitate communication between members and their healthcare providers, assisting in the development of self-management plans.
  • Regularly evaluate and update individualized care plans based on member needs.

Supervisory Role

This position includes leadership responsibilities for the Maternal Child Health Team, working closely with the Care Coordination Supervisor to ensure effective team operations.

Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; BSN preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a pediatric healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with the Oregon Health Plan, particularly regarding pediatric and obstetrical care.
  • Preferred leadership experience.

Licenses and Certifications
  • Current, unencumbered RN license in Oregon.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
  • Current BLS certification.

Work Environment

The role requires the ability to meet physical demands, including occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds, and involves regular sitting, talking, and hearing. The work environment is typically moderate in noise level and may involve exposure to communicable diseases.
