Position Overview:
Interim HealthCare of Bellevue is in search of an Educational Psychologist to contribute to our mission in providing exceptional support to students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct assessments, evaluate, and interpret various individual tests, which include intelligence, achievement, social/emotional skills, functional behavior assessments, and adaptive skills.


  • Assess students' eligibility for district special programs through comprehensive evaluation procedures.
  • Create detailed reports that summarize assessment outcomes and recommendations for services. Collaborate with district personnel to design and implement social, behavioral, and academic interventions.
  • Actively participate as a member of the assessment team and student study team.
  • Provide consultation to educators regarding necessary instructional and behavioral strategies to support students in mainstream classroom environments. Analyze psychological assessments and reports from other educational institutions and external providers.
  • Offer individual or group counseling sessions for students.
  • Assist families by providing information and support concerning their child's social, behavioral, and academic challenges.
  • Work in coordination with community health and social agencies, as needed, to ensure comprehensive service delivery for students.
Collaborate with related service professionals to guarantee effective service provision.

  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Student Services or the building principal.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in psychology or educational psychology is required.

Possession of a Washington certificate at the Initial Level as Educational Staff Associate (ESA-School Psychology). Demonstrated experience or training in testing, measurement, problem-solving, and social skills is essential.

Excellent oral and written communication abilities are necessary.
