We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Markets Analyst to join our team at eFinancialCareers. As a Financial Markets Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our Portfolio Manager in risk-taking activities, including trade idea generation, market monitoring, and building constructive tools and models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Track market developments and economic activity to manage risk and identify investment opportunities.
  • Research Support: Support and enhance the PM's research process, providing valuable insights and analysis to inform investment decisions.
  • Model Development: Build quantitative/statistical models and tools to analyze market data and identify trends.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside our quant research team to provide analytics and ad-hoc data-driven projects to assist the Portfolio Manager.

Requirements

  • Education: Educated at a top-tier college (ideally to MSc level) in a quantitative-driven subject.
  • Experience: Prior work experience of 1-5 years in a closely related field such as trading, market-making, strategy/research, junior PM, etc.
  • Product Knowledge: Fixed Income/Rates product knowledge is essential.
  • Programming Skills: Experience with an advanced programming language, Python being highly desirable.
