Responsibilities
  • Provide Professional Nursing Care: Administer medications, perform wound care, and provide vital sign checks to ensure the health and well-being of our residents.
  • Monitor and Document Resident Health Status: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident health status, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Supervise and Train Unlicensed Staff: Oversee the work of unlicensed staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Requirements
  • MN LPN Licensure: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
  • BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers.
  • Experience: 0-1 years of experience as an LPN in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.
  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in using technology, including computers, handheld devices, and fax machines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree: Completion of a vocational/technical training program or associate degree in nursing.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience as an LPN in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Word, as well as Point Click Care knowledge.
