Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring a safe and well-maintained hotel environment. This includes performing repairs and maintenance on guestrooms and public spaces, as well as responding to guest and associate requests.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on guestrooms and public spaces, including HVAC, kitchen, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Conduct preventive maintenance on guestrooms, following PM guidelines for CARE or PRP program.

• Assist with equipment preventive maintenance programs and assist engineers and mechanics with repairs.

• Clean all work areas after completing a job and maintain a clean shop and storage areas.

• Maintain general maintenance inventories and have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies upon training.

• Perform daily shift engineer checklist and have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations upon training.

Qualifications:

• Prior building maintenance experience required for level 2 positions and HVAC experience preferred for level 1 positions.

• Must be able to lift 50lbs and work weekend and holiday shifts, with a varying schedule according to business and operational needs.
