Job Details

Amberwell Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Hiawatha, Kansas. As a Registered Nurse with Amberwell Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals and clinics, and provide high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
  • Maintain a safe environment of care and contribute to a collaborative practice with other disciplines.
Requirements:
  • 2-year degree or 4-year degree in nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Kansas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in hospitals and clinics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to potential electrical shock.
  • Exposure to x-ray/electromagnetic energy.
  • Exposure to high-pitched noises.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases.
  • Exposure to blood and/or body fluids.
Physical Requirements:
  • Medium work - exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
  • Stand for 1-2 hours per day.
  • Sit for 3-4 hours per day.
  • Walk for 1-2 hours per day.
