Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Amberwell Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our providers and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and verify patient health history, documenting vital signs and medical information
- Perform physical assessments, gather health data, and collect biological samples for laboratory analysis
- Administer injections and vaccinations, perform EKGs, and conduct point-of-care testing
- Provide patient care as directed by physicians or advanced practice clinicians, making skilled judgments based on patient presentation and protocols
- Document patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and test results in the medical record
- Assist other healthcare professionals with exams, diagnostic procedures, treatments, and minor surgical procedures
- Ensure accurate patient information is maintained in the chart for quality reporting and data extraction purposes
- Coordinate and manage patient care, including tracking testing and referrals
- Stay informed of insurance requirements and guidelines for patient care, performing prior authorizations and advocating for patients
- Monitor patients to promote wellness and health maintenance, including preventative and chronic care
